Ultimately what they are saying is that food, digestion, gut bacteria, gastrointestinal problems and autism are somehow linked (at least in some cases of autism). I never thought I would see a study lik...Wow...wow! I never thought I would see a study like this in my lifetime. I'm not very good at interpreting this stuff as well as I would like (I wish they all came with the "Idiot's Guide" version). So, are they saying that it is more than likely an environmental cause of this rather than a congenital cause? My own child, an SCD responder, had gi issues since birth but no signs of autism until a month long bout with antibiotics at 18 mos, it was downhill from there.
