It's also a main component of collagen, which we don't seem to get as much of nowadays in our diet, unless you make bone broths.<br /><br />About aminos like tyrosine, it seems that one can take it to boost dopamine and attentiveness for a while, until the body shifts to maintain homeostasis. Perhaps the solution is to find substances that block (for example) dopamine for a period so that the body responds by making more dopamine or more receptors.
